The image on the right is our old playroom when we first had the floor and walls done, and just bought the dogs furniture. Its hard to believe how much wear there has been in the last four years. My little angels have managed to destroy the furniture, starting with the cushions and then working on the frame!!! And how they were able to destroy the floor, I will never know. But believe me, it does not look like that nice picture anymore.
But soon it will have a wonderful new facelift!
As you can see we have new tile flooring going down. Its that plank style flooring that looks like wood, but is durable ceramic tile. And we've purchased some new pet cots. We will be having one wall covered in indestructible tile that resembles stonework too. Now, I know my angels will probably work their magic on this upgrade over time too, but hopefully it will last a long time. I'll be posting follow up pictures when the room is done. Let me know what you think!!!
Of course doing construction means having strange humans in the house, and dog sleeping in different places and artificial barriers being put up, and you can just imagine the chaos. Not so much for the dogs -- barking at the workers is fun!!!! But the humans do take a toll. Oh well, its going to be worth it!
